Dr Tobias Pincock is a leading adult and children’s ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon with a special interest in the areas of functional nasal surgery and endoscopic sinus (functional nasal) surgery for both adults and children. Dr Pincock is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian and European Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He believes in a medically based holistic approach to treating patient sinus and ear, nose and throat disorders. This is done by examining and addressing all internal and external contributing factors such as sleep disorders, environmental allergies and other related medical conditions before considering surgery. Patients may be asked to have a number of tests to ensure the best possible treatment and care is provided.
Dr Pincock commenced his otorhinolaryngology (ear, nose and throat surgery) training in 1999 through the University of Newcastle, NSW. After graduating, he was offered a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the University of Washington, in Seattle, USA, under the highly acclaimed guidance of Dr Wayne Larrabee, considered one of the top facial plastic surgeons in the world and former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and other eminent professional organisations.
Dr Pincock is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian and European Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is one of only a few surgeons in Australia to complete the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Board examinations and achieve recognition as a certificant of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Societies.
