What can patients expect from an appointment with you?
They can expect a clear diagnosis and an understanding of why the problem occurred. We also create a plan on how to fix the problem. I offer hands-on physiotherapy with additional input from our expert massage therapists. This gives you access to our strong network of sports physicians, GPs and orthopaedic surgeons.
What led you to Elevate?
I have a passion for assisting people who want to achieve the best in both their athletic and workplace pursuits, and that’s the Elevate philosophy, so it’s a great fit.
What do you appreciate about Elevate?
I appreciate the wealth of experience located under one roof. Our health and GP practitioners and services are integrated and that’s something of which I am proud!
What are your core beliefs about wellness and health?
“Move well, stay well”, is the core belief I practice and treat my patients around. An active mind cannot exist in an inactive body.
What mistakes do patients make?
People expect a lot from their bodies in this day and age. However, when they fail us, it is important to respect the healing time of an injury. This doesn’t mean one has to stop altogether. It simply means understanding your injury through an appropriate diagnosis. This will then allow you to appreciate what will make your injury worse – and help you to get better.
What key health lessons do you like to impart to patients?
A niggle is a niggle for a reason. Don’t just accept it – do something about it!
What do you enjoy about your job?
I love the dynamic and ever-changing environment. Also, nothing beats rehabilitating a patient so that they are able to return to their chosen sport. Whether they are a weekend warrior or professional athlete, every patient comes with his or her own set of challenges and rewards.
What are your extracurricular passions?
Snowboarding, following AFL, going to see live music and keeping fit. I am also lucky enough to run a practice in the ski fields of Japan during the northern hemisphere winter.

I am a physiotherapist for the Australian Moguls and Aerials Ski team. I have also completed my APA Sports Title.
